Great game, I don't know if it has been mentioned before but this reminds me a lot of Knytt Stories. If you haven't played it I can't recommend it enough, and it's also free.
Ferociter is my favorite new-school browser game creator. This game is no exception, it's awesome. The sheer variety of platforming challenges and the atmospheric vibe really shine through here.
